Big nights from Matheny and Turner. Nobody else played particularly well, but BSU didn't play well and it was enough.

If we keep one of Matheny or Diggs scoring well we can be tough.

Coach Huger officially became the 6th coach in program history to hit 100 wins tonight, and the first alumnus to reach the milestone here. Great accomplishment - happy for the man.

With now 11 days off until our next scheduled game and 3 games that still need to be made up, I'd imagine we'll be getting something added to the schedule between now and our showdown with Akron. Whoever it is, we've gotta win that game.

My question is this... what happens if a couple of teams have COVID issues during the tourney, perhaps even the leaders?? Would they scrap it if three teams were out, or just play with the teams that were left??

I hope we have a post season. I would not be surprised if we did not have one.

Determining who wins the conference will be interesting. For example on the women's side, BG is 12-3 with NIU 9-3. They likely will not have the same # of conference games. NIU swept BG. With cancelations and make ups, what if it ends up BG 14-3 and NIU 13-3 with NIU sweeping the series 2-0. BG gets the nod which is ok with me but I bet NIU will be less than thrilled.

If its just seeding then no big deal but if the MAC tourny is cancelled, then the regular season champ gets the nod.
