Better school, better conference, better record, better everything. Next up, downplay the Clair upgrade. Rinse and repeat.
Ah, the troll is back.

You went awfully quiet as men’s basketball has gone on a 4-game win streak, women’s basketball has won a conference regular season championship, and volleyball has started 11-0, while hockey has put themselves in a position to clinch a top-2 seed in the WCHA tournament and punch their ticket to the big dance for the 2nd time in 3 years. Gotta hate on something, though!

But hey, at least you referred to us as “Bowling Green fans” in a way that shows you don’t identify as one, yourself. Thanks for stopping back in to tell on yourself!

Arizona has added 10 transfers so far. That is a lot.

I'd sure like to add some transfers here too. Would like to see the transfer portal benefit us rather than just be a shopping list for the power programs.

Keep live posting score updates to yourself until Drumsticks tells us how Clair would do more winning at BGSU than at Northwestern, or Biggers downgraded at Boise St.

That'd be great for Clair. Certainly a great move academically if he's considering life beyond football and Northwestern is a solid program.

That's now 12 guys (and counting) on their way out and only 1 coming in. And now we're seeing a movement of starter after starter leaving. And all of this coming from a team well below the allotted scholarship numbers that we simply can't gain traction to fill. We're a pitiful team on the field and we're also getting crushed off the field now too with all of these departures. Honestly, what is this number going to balloon to by the time the fall rolls around. 20???

Come on folks....trust the process. We have a defensive coordinator who has failed at every stop for nearly a decade running off the majority of players who did do anything. Some of those guys are getting better offers, but the kids are the issue. They need everything Jinks gone before they can win. Trust the process like it's Michigan in the mid 1990's, 20 years before a transfer portal. To the moon...minus 12 transfers.

Not to cast stones, but the LB leaving is not a surprise or a hand wringer for anyone on the team. I’ll leave it at that.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Grad transfers are a normal thing.

The silver lining with all these transfers is that you're going to get underclassmen a chance to earn valuable playing time that I believe will serve the program well a couple years down the road. The kids transferring out don't want to spend a year of eligibility struggling to win games, I get it, and I think it speaks to the generation of kids who would rather find themselves in a situation they perceive to be better than what they have at BG. Those who stay and work hard are going to be rewarded.

So, 2021 is probably going to be another really difficult year. Those who don't understand how messed up this program became over the past several years will call for Loeffler to be fired which will only cause more players to transfer and just keep the cycle of dysfunction going, setting the program even further behind where it is, if that's even possible.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

True, except in these cases, a lot of these guys aren't graduates, they're still underclassmen.

Never like to see someone have to hang them up for this reason, But damn man, this is yet another starter lost. These losses are becoming mind boggling, especially since EVERY player has been given an extra year, and despite that, BG is losing players in masses.

Be patient. Bowling Green is rebuilding a football program the way you rebuilt before computers and cellular phones. VanGorder hasn’t stayed nearly anywhere in his career for 3 full seasons, but he seems to have found his calling at BGSU. Headed to the moon via a hot air balloon.
