Our play out of the timeout results in a metheny iso. Fantastic..... guess I'll spend the second half looking up the Fordham athletic department mailing address

Akron shot 17 free throws in the first half to our 5.
They took shots on the move through the middle of our defense as a result of running an actual offense.

I think Huger has had some D level games this year but I don’t necessarily see it in this one. Uneven foul calls, tons of open misses, less than 100% star player and still within 8. I’ll give him a SOLID C+.

I am truly wondering how we got this talent in the first place.

Has Reghi called LCJ the Maestro yet? That idiot (reghi) annoys me.

I thought the officiating was mostly fine, they're not great but whatever.

Our shooting is awful because we never actually ran anything to get good shots. Fulcher coming around a screen to shoot a 19' may be open but it's not a good shot. Diggs shooting from 8' beyond the arc is always open bit it's not a good shot. If you see those shots and merely say, "we're missing open looks" then I would say your expectations are off.

Where I will actually give Huger some credit...I thought we defended ok...putting in some of the longer guys that don't play as much worked out well. As always getting Swingle off the floor also helped our defense

Swingle is horrible. The fact he starts tells me all I need to know about Washington.

Wash was 7th off the bench, even after Elsasser.

He has his foibles. And he's made some goofs today. But as a general rule of thumb I think Reghi is hands down the best announcer in the history of the MAC.

If he was perfect he wouldn't be doing MAC games. Still, he's a professional announcer who usually actually sounds like he has seen the teams play before. And he's the only guy I've ever heard call MAC games consistently and focus on the actual game (and MAC in general) rather than rambling about the Big10, BCS, etc.

How does a 5'7" guard come down and create his own shot any time he wants it?

Swingle with 5 quick points in the 2nd half, and the lead is 3.

I still think Swingle would be an excellent piece if he was 40 lbs. lighter. He’s just too big to have the quickness and stamina.
