Gets hurt on the play of regulation in the season finale before the MAC Tournament. It's sickening. I'm telling you, BG is cursed when it comes to this tournament.

Big time opportunities missed there. We're hanging in it, showing some grit, but man we need Matheny to hit some shots.hes too talented to not score, and we need it without juice.

Gotta love what C. Turner has been showing. He’s going to be a great player.
Makes you wonder how chandler hasn’t been playing more this season. He has made a massive impact tonight.

If we get stops and push in transition it looks better as well.

We're in this one because plowden has gotten hot. Still not really doing much different. Playing with more energy though.
I completely agree but the energy is different and we need to start that way.

Can we hit our free throws please
Energy much better. Our energy seems to come and go based on whether we score. Not always the other way around

We’ve got a tie game with 6:16 left.

LCJ comes up limping and Akron is forced to call a timeout here, after a Diggs layup in transition tied the game at 57.

IS it just me, or did Jackson hurt himself flopping to draw a foul?

Plowden, who was straight up, is whistled for his 4th foul.

With 4:22 to play, we’re tied at 61. BG took their first lead of the night about a minute ago.

That appears to be a Correct assessment

We just let the same guy (who never even plays for them) hit 2 wide open, completely unguarded threes.

2:32 to go, Akron leads 69-63.

Leaving Marshall alone was clearly on purpose. Way to step up kid.

When officials and a back up center kill you it’s just not in the cards for you.

Kid was 2/14 from three on the season, so naturally he buries 2 in the final minutes here. Of course.

I think the curse is real, folks.

Feel terrible for Turner and Plowden. They gave it their all here for 4-5 years. Two great careers.

Yep. This shitshow is bigger than them.

Add em to the list of all MAC stars that just can't get us over the hump.

Our only hope at this point is landing a Coach K type on his way up the ladder, or lucking into an NBA lotto pick type player, but those guys don't hit the MAC anymore.

I really loved these guys but they were very hard to watch this year. They had so much potential but they just never truly came together as a team. One of these years will be ours but for now it is time to move on. No more stress watching this team struggle.
