This was one of those games where neither team deserved to lose. Great runs, some super last second shots as clock ran down etc. these ladies have nothing to be ashamed of. Two “ super” kids for CMU made difference.

Judging from their post-game tweets, it sounds like the season will continue in the WNIT. Well earned and I’ll look forward to watching!

Didn’t the reg. Season champ get “ auto bid” to WNIT in past? That said, a 20-6 record should be strong enough for 2nd team into NCAA.
Just my opinion.

I know we will not get an at large bid to the NCAAs, but do you think we will get a WNIT invite. I heard they waived the conference regular season champ is no longer automatic.

If the WNIT passes on a 20-6 team , then something is definitely screwy. Tournament play would be a nice reward for this team , not to mention great experience for this younger group of players to get some extra court time.
