This is on the players. They came out flat and tight knowing full well how important this game is.WoosterWarrior wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:43 pmIf Ty doesn’t fire and replace these mediocre assistants, it’s time we move on from him. This staff is killing the program.

This game specifically, sure. But the defense has been bad all year long, and that's a symptom of a larger issue than just the players.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:48 pmThis is on the players. Of course. Eigner has always let these guys play with a bit more slack on the leash than Berge did and I agree it doesn't suit their personnel well.mbenecke wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:54 pmThis game specifically, sure. BG gets one past DiMatteo, but the whistle went early so it doesn't count. No idea why the ref is blowing his whistle when the puck is still clearly free, but we have to keep fighting here.

Northern nets another with 2:56 to play in the 2nd period to go up 3-0, and it's time to start thinking offseason...

Sam Craggs beats DiMatteo to cut the lead to 2.
It's 3-1 Wildcats with 1:11 to play in the middle frame.

The daunted recruiting class that is now seniors, will have two- 3rd place finishes a 4th place and a 5th place with one NCAA tournament appearance.

And Cullen got absolutely drilled from behind into the boards right beforehand. No call, no review.
