I dated a girl that went to Miami a long time ago and spent a bit of time in Oxford for a decade or so after that. The Greek thing is big down there because there isn't much in the way of bars to go to. If you wanted a social life you either joined an org or found a crew that had a decent rental off campus.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
