ESPN picks BG last in MAC East for 2021

To no one's surprise, BG has already picked up its first "picked to finish last" poll, this one courtesy of ESPN. Ohio and Buffalo were picked tied for first at 5-3 in the MAC, with the head-to-head winner winning the division.

I mean, at this point, I’d take 3 wins and 2 in the conference. Lol

We just need to show progress at some point. I don’t think anyone expects a WBB-like rise from the bottom to the top in 1 year, but we need something to show that the program has some life.

I just want to see proof of some talent on the field.

It’ll be interesting...not sure 3 wins is possible.

Technically the team could improve but still lose every game...that’s how bad they were last year

Ceiling: 5 wins. Floor: 1 win. Not sure I've ever put the ceiling at fewer than 6. It is hard to win games when you are a freshman / sophomore team. But if those freshmen and sophomores return as sophomores and juniors rather than disintegrate as the older classes have, then the program will finally start stabilizing after being wrecked in 2016.

Definitely not. Minnesota might end up being a top 25 team by the end of the year. Tennessee is going to be lucky to be .500
