BG VB beats Toledo 3-1 today to move to 16-0.

This team is closing in on the MAC regular season title, after clinching a spot in the MAC tournament after their last match.

RPI isn’t much of a measuring stick when you aren’t playing non conference games. 4th in RPI is because the team is undefeated and the cpu formula doesn’t have much else to evaluate.
Surprised team isn’t in top 25 polls at this point...

Falcons beat Akron in 5 sets tonight to move to 17-0 and claim the MAC regular season championship!

Great crowd tonight, with a ton of football players in attendance. Really helped to spur the team along when they were down 2-1 and heading into the 4th.

Great to win a championship on your home floor.

Fantastic stuff to get to 17-0 and win the regular season title! Things were looking a little dicey in the fourth set for a moment, but this team rallied and continued to show why their record is so good. Ay Ziggy Zoomba!!

BG moves to 18-0 with another win over Akron today. 3 games left this season before the conference tournament, and this team has now won the outright MAC crown.

I don't know much about volleyball, but undefeated is a pretty big deal. Only two MAC schools have run the table in conference play since the conference went from 8 to 16 conference games starting in 1991. Ohio did it in 2004, 2006, and 2014. Ball State did it in 1993 and 1994.

It would nice to see this team break into the Top 25 next week. They are close.
