Last nights game, and a big reason we won

Not sure if anyone who was at the game last night noticed this but halfway during the first half some people behind Ball States bench, which would be the season ticket holders, but about 7 guys and 2 girls were yelling back and forth between the players on the bench and also with the head coach Tim Buckley. It even got to the point where the fans in the first few rows and the coaches were screaming at each other and pointing fingers. Then about 30 seconds later, Ball State coach got a technical foul. Then a couple BGSU faculty members, including I think the assistant AD came over to the fans and had a talk with them. I went over to that section at halftime and asked what it was all about and they just said it was an arguement that wasnt finished from the prior game a few weeks ago, but they actually cause the coach to get the technical. WOW!!! Our fans made the coach get a technical foul. If you now go back and look at it, that technical foul won the game. Congrats you few fans that made that happen. Those two points were the deciding points, although it should never been that close, but those 2 points was the final margin of victory. Oh how I bet Tim Buckley is ashamed now.

BSU fans had no right to be on Buckley's back, once Stovall went down 50% of his offensive production was injured. They had another big injury for the game.....was it Trammel...I forgot. Anyway, I think you have to give your coach a break in that situation.

Thanks for talking about that! I was confused as heck on why they got a technical and didn't read it in any of the other threads. Coaches and players shouldn't let fan remarks get to them but obviously some do! GO FALCONS!!!

I think the fans got into the coaches head. Then he went and complained to the ref during a time-out, pointed to the season ticket holders, then a few seconds later drew the technical. Looks like other fans besides the Anderson Animals are stepping up. I think hecklers should be allowed in basketball as long as they keep the language clean. Heck, coach Brandon does it in football. I think Dakich should thank those BG fans behind the bench that help cause Buckley in the getting the technical. Without it we woud be in OT playing, and with our foul trouble at the end of the game
