Wow, he’s regarded as one of the better special teams guys around. Shocked we got him here. This is a huge get.

Re: VanGorder
Considering his reputation and the fact he needs a job after the coaching change at Illinois, this is a huge and fortunate hire, and also one that will probably not last for long. Every BG player should learn as much as they possibly can from Ligashesky for as long as he is on staff.

He has been waiting for his entire career to work with Kit Hughes.

Re: VanGorder
????
We're able to attract legitimate coaching talent after the previous staff brought in nothing but underqualified people and this is the hill we want to die on?
June and Ligs are a blessing for a program in desperate need of all the help it can get. If Loeffler was a moron I'm pretty certain these two wouldn't entertain any prospect of working here. I think it's great the student-athletes are going to be coached by men who have an absolute proven track record.

Absolutely! Great to hear...
And thank God BVG is gone. The worst DC I've ever seen and his colorful language in the coaching booth will not be missed. For the love of Doyt Perry, there were kids in those seats that could hear every word.
