This is from Ball States website. Makes it sound like it was our fault for Stovall's injury.

Sophomore Peyton Stovall was driving to the basket and, in a barrage of Bowling Green players, was knocked to the floor. Seconds later he was carried off the court by his BSU teammates and did not return to action.

They didn't mention that he traveled first and landed on his own players ankle.

They also didn't mention that while he was holding the leg up in the air in pain, Moon tried to step over it and bumped into the injured leg some more...

It's Ball State's website, what do you expect. They're not in the business of promoting BGSU athletics, so they give their side of the story. Not mentioning something maybe be somewhat unethical but that's it. I see no harm in what they published.

They also said Ball State will be waiting Sunday for a call for an NIT bid!!!! NIT are you kidding me, 15-13 and want an NIT bid!

Maybe Letterman really is paying someone a quite a bit of money

Not to mention that their top two players are now hurt. Nobody wants to see that team play again.

The BSU site also mentioned some kid with a BG shirt named Sworden who jumped on the guy after he was on the ground. Wonder what that's all about.

Yeah...so...of course they will be waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and waiting. With only winning about 2 of their last 10 games post-season play seems highly unlikely.

Just to clear things up the post about the NIT was this

"On channel 6 they that BSU would be waiting to see about a NIT bid , Don't get me wrong I would love to see this happen but a 9th seed with a 15 and 13 record I just can't believe we would even get considered ... By the way great comeback tonight Cards , I still wish we hadn't got down 15 the first half ... GOOD LUCK PEYTON ON YOUR INJURY!!!! "

Channel 6 is a station out of indianapolis.

Also about the injury to stovall, of course it's going to be BSU slanted, I can't say because I was listening and wasn't there. Good luck at the gund, Don't forget Miami pretty much owns you there.

Yup, 1-0 just like BG over Ball State. Actually it's Kent State who "owns" us at the Gund!

Considering BG is 3-0 vs Ball State in MAC tourney games since the last time BG and Miami have even played in one, what would the appropriate verb to describe that relationship? :P
