I understand you're simply being an asshole, but I'd be very happy with 3rd this year. Eigs would have put in a coach-of-the-year performance.

Then find a way to make your point without being what you so often demonstrate to the rest of us. It's not that hard.

<sigh>
At least guys are all landing at blue blood programs (except for Cullen). That leaves Musser as the last one on the board?

Re: Offseason Thread
Musser, and I guess technically Rich? But I don’t see a reason he’d play more on his own dime, as a walk-on.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 3:51 pm<sigh>

I could see Rich staying on as a 3rd string/practice Goalie, if he chooses. Whoever the third guy is, he will understand that playing time is non-existent.mbenecke wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 4:34 pmMusser, and I guess technically Rich? Rich’s dad is a prof or something with the university so he’s covered tuition wise. But I assume he’s graduating with honors with his computer science degree so he may want to cash in. First year salary with Google, Microsoft, or Facebook is more that what Nell has made since he left. Ok, I’m exaggerating a bit.pdt1081 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 5:30 pmI could see Rich staying on as a 3rd string/practice Goalie, if he chooses. Re: Offseason Thread
Speaking of guys who left BG early - Nell is definitely the cautionary tale for leaving college to soon. Sucks but it definitely hasn't worked out. Can't break 900 sv%, can't stick with a team.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 6:03 pmRich’s dad is a prof or something with the university so he’s covered tuition wise. Best of luck to all the seniors using their extra year elsewhere. My eyes are turning to the upcoming season, and anxiously awaiting the schedule being released.

Re: Offseason Thread
Gould is also finishing up his master's this summer and graduating so he won't be returning. I believe that settles the roster for next year pending incoming recruits.

Re: Offseason Thread
I don't blame the kid. He just turned 25 yesterday, and I don't know many people who finish their undergrad and graduate careers that still want to hang out in college for another year. Good luck to the young man.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 8:19 am Gould is also finishing up his master's this summer and graduating so he won't be returning. Bednard was promoted to the AHL's Syracuse Crunch. Congrats! Bummed I can't watch him on Flo any longer. Now all he has to do is knock off Spencer Knight.
