Years past it's been in the media guide which you can find on the football page on the athletic website. I'm sure a lot of the media types will be posting it though Monday morning via Twitter.

You can usually find it on Twitter. Or come to this site within 30 minutes of it being released and it'll be posted here. Lol

So, the remnants of soon to be Hurricane Ida will bear watching. There's a good chance she heads towards south-central Tennessee Wednesday morning. If that does happen, hopefully she scoots out of the way quickly. Decent chance there could still be impacts by kickoff Thursday night.

Depth chart released. Couple notes:

- Is Sam Neverov injured and I missed it? He's nowhere to be found. True freshman walk-on Cade Zimmerly is listed as the starting center. I expect the o-line to have a rough go.
- Tucker Melton is listed as QB2 with Davis as QB3. I would be surprised if we don't see Keller his the transfer portal before too long if he's not even top three.
- I'm excited to see Embry as our return person. I think he's going to do well there.
- Looks like new transfer Devin Taylor is immediately eligible somehow, because he's listed on the depth chart as a backup corner. There actually seems to be some pretty solid depth with defensive backs.

I never saw anything about Neverov not being available.

He was our representative for MAC media day last month. I can't imagine he's fully healthy if he's not on the two-deep. I can't see any way we couldn't use him out there if he's available.

Neverov is injured. Zimmerly was a walk-on from Perrysburg if that gives you any idea about the shape of the O-line. Boy that position is really going to struggle if Sam misses extended time.

If Keller were to transfer I don't see anywhere he would be able to play immediately, He's still really green. Even Melton listed as the backup doesn't mean much. I think after this season is where the QB battle will get really interesting.

Defense has good size and experience - should be the strength of the team, outside of special teams.

In Zimmerly's defense, I will say that his height seemed to be the difference in him having zero offers rather than a dozen. He was a four-year starter and first-team all-state, if memory serves correctly, and his tape looks very, very good. That said, unless you're a five-star recruit, rarely are you ready to play FBS O-line as a true freshman.

Bummer about Neverov. Strack confirmed that, too. Anyone have insight into the severity?

Someone told me in confidence a while back that this was imminent…. They said He can’t even walk without pain….. not sure whether that report was accurate; but he seems off the board now? …. If he is battling debilitating pain, Weird that he was the face of the team at MAC day…..

Loeffler's press conference:

Not a lot new. Young team, new center, Matt McDonald is offensive captain. Worth a watch.

I have a sinking feeling that this game will be canceled and not rescheduled due to Ida. There is likely to be a ton of flooding in the region. Anyone else thinking the same?

Interesting theory.

Having just been outside the stadium a month ago, I can confirm that it sits at the bottom of a large hill and directly next to a river. So I'm sure flooding could be an issue if they get enough rain.

Crazy that something happening all the way down in the Gulf has a chance to impact Knoxville, TN, but that's reality.
