Promotional Ideas
Since there are a lot of people that don't think the Marketing and Promotions Dept. at BGSU are doing a very good job, maybe you should give some ideas. Here is your chance to tell those BGSU Marketing and Promotions Dept. employees that may read this board what you would like to see and what you think would raise the attendance at games. It doesn't have to be held just to football, but this is the forum that I chose. I personally like the bring a kid to the game day that is usually done.
BGSU Class of '07
Unfortunatly, it may not be the Marketing departments fault at all, just a plight that all Mid-American conference schools share. Bring Duke to AA and USC to the Doyt and watch how fast all of these "marketing problems" disappear. Promotional employees can give t-shirts away until they are blue in the face, but Eastern Michigan will always be Eastern Michigan, and that's who we play. In the end it is ultimately up to the students to come to games and show support in greater numbers, and right now the majority of the student body, sports fans included, just aren't that interested.
