This team is showing us something right now. They got punched in the face early on, but have gotten back on their feet and are battling.
That's exact!y what I was hoping to see...a push back against adversity.
You put 14 early on a Dino team and it was lights out. This team has some starch
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Osborne has 7 catches for 45 yards. Croom has 4 catches for 37 yards.
Nobody has any significant rushing stats. On 11 “carries” we have 5 yards. If you take out the McDonald rushes (sacks), you get 9 rushes for 18 yards. But that’s not surprising here - undersized offensive line against a much bigger and stronger SEC defensive line.
I'm really happy right now. Halftime, in the game. Team calmed down from the early storm and dominated the second. They have something to play for and are in a situation to think "woulda coulda shoulda" rather than "end it already".
I have no delusions of winning this thing. But I'm sure happy about the fight I'm seeing and the coaching. Players are playing maturely out there after the early onslaught.

You may all now return to your daily lives.

I think we all expect Tennessee to pull away in the second half, but there are a lot of positives to build on which is exactly what this program needs.
