Pretty much. Unless you have our 2012 - 13 offensive lines, BG won't be running the ball much.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 10:25 pmKinda what happens when you're a MAC program playing an SEC program...

Re: 9/2 at Tennessee
BG gets a nice tackle in space from Ferguson on 3rd down, and the front 7 stands tall and forces a turnover on 4th and 2.

Gah. Too many penalties, especially after timeouts and on special teams.
Probably a lot of it is jitters, but let’s get that fixed.

Only thing keeping this respectable is Joe Milton. He’s horrible. We’ll see better QBs in the MAC.

Frustrating 3rd quarter, but expected. That said, I must say, I LOVE our uniform combo. The lightning orange helmet with the orange pants and the white jerseys with orange numbers really pops. It looks outstanding IMO.
GO BG!!!

BG strip sacks Tennessee and takes over in plus territory early in the 4th.
Anders with the strip and also the recovery. Nice play.

Re: 9/2 at Tennessee
BG goes for it on 4th and 1 from the 33 and doesn’t get it.
If we had an offensive line with some more size (give it a year or two) we would’ve tried to run for a yard there.

Tons of high snaps. I know Zimmerly is making his first start and he's young, but a number of these snaps were saved and could have been disastrous if McDonald didn't save them. Several of these snaps have blown up plays we were running out of them as well.
GO BG!!!

4th and 1 and that's the play? Really stupid.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: 9/2 at Tennessee
I just don’t think we get a yard by running the ball there. We have 6 rushing yards on the game, over 15 carries.
I hate throwing it on 4th and 1, but I don’t know if we had a “good” option there.

Re: 9/2 at Tennessee
I agree, but we simply cannot run the ball. We have 6 yards on 15 carries averaging 0.4 ypc. One yard may as well be 5 for us right now, we just can't get it.
GO BG!!!
