I can’t believe they have moved this far ahead. There has been a lot of ugly but this win is a thing of beauty. I think we all have to start believing Loefler can turn the corner.

The BG defensive coordinator had previously been a defensive coordinator in the MAC. At EMU in 2009. EMU led the nation in pass defense.

Problem is EMU was absolutely horrendous on rush defense so nobody bother risking the pass. EMU went 0-12.

I have no idea what all lessons he has learned since. Regardless the play of the BG defense this year has been utterly remarkable.

I have said this before and as long as people continue to gripe about anything this season - and there should not be any BECAUSE 30 of the 44 players on the two deep are FRESHMEN OR SOPHOMORES!!!! 30 of 44 - a number I have NEVER heard of!
Phil Steele and others had us as the worst team in FBS. Dead last! This program has turned the corner this season!!!

Maybe he has better athletes in BG than he did at Eastern. Better athletes make coaches look smarter especially when they are willing to learn.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.
