Still 1-0. First line PP looks good, second needs some work. We’re not giving up much in the way of scoring chances.

With 10 sec left in the period, Swankler grabbed the puck out of the air at the blue line, kicked it to his forehand, and fired a snipe (going just wide) upper corner glove side.

End of 2, still 1-0. I'll take back what I said earlier about the commentators. I'm certain they are not in the building doing the play by play.

Typical first game. Both teams look pretty out of sync. Ice seems to be poor too.

2-1 RPI as BG has been caught running around in their own end for most of the period.

Sloppy game, to be expected. Rest up and get back at it tomorrow.

Sister kisser. Not sure either team really played well enough to earn a win anyways.

Swankler looked good in the 3x3. Very good pickup.

That was a horrible game. I expect some rough games in the NCAA and ECHL early on

I feel hopeful after tonight. We looked like we'd never played together before, but once everything starts coming together, I don't think we'll be pushovers this season.

There were 6 new faces dressed for Friday night. 3 freshman and 3 transfers. Burke and Swankler stood out as playing well together. Parker and Chicoine seemed solid as well. It will be interesting to see the lineup changes for tonight.

I agree wholeheartedly. One thing that worries me though is the shooting looked to be an issue last night, reminiscent of a couple of years ago. I'll chalk it up to chemistry right now, but there were opportunities for sure yet the finishing lacked

Not many natural goal scorers on the team right now. Actually not many in a long time.

Absolutely.

I missed last night's game due to high school football. Tonight, I'd love nothing more than for hockey to steal a road win and make my whole weekend.
