vs. Toledo (11/10)
Not a true bye week, but a few extra days off before the Scuds come to the Doyt. Chance to get some bodies healthy and focus on preparation. This will likely be the biggest game of the year for most on here, and a W does keep a 6-6 season alive. Toledo has been a Jekyll and Hyde all year long so hard to get a good gauge on them, but I do believe this is a winnable game.

I agree.
Re: vs. Toledo (11/10)
I'm very glad for the win on Saturday, but I think an unintended consequence will be that we get a whole lot more of Turdledo's attention for their game prep than if we had lost to UB by 30 points. They also can still get a bowl trip if they finish strong and no doubt remember what the loss to us did to their bowl opportunity in 2019. I would be really surprised if they show up flat and unprepared.

F*ck these dudes.
It's going to be a bloodbath, and one I'm going to be in the building for. Here's hoping for a fun, unforgettable Battle of I-75.

UT has EMU tomorrow. Definitely want to see if the EMU offense lights up the UT defense. The BG offense FINALLY made an appearance and 56 points is the most points scored by any MAC team against any conference game this year. Obviously the Loeffler era has not been known for consistency. I hope for some on the offensive side right now because that was the best looking offense since Matt Johnson and Roger Lewis and Gehrig Dieter and Travis Greene were around.

Buffalo let us score once and did not expect McDonald to take off on the final one because it was...technically...not the smart thing to do.
But...the other points were definitely legit. Stewart is a find

Rockets host EMU tonight on ESPN2. Good opportunity for some scouting, hopefully our coaches are making the trek north tonight to see it in person.

Does anyone know officially if Loeffler has to sit out any of the Toledo game, for getting tossed at Buffalo?
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

University source told me he doesn't have to miss any of the Toledo game.roguewarrior wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 12:49 pm Does anyone know officially if Loeffler has to sit out any of the Toledo game, for getting tossed at Buffalo?

I think the only penalty that carries game to game is targeting.

That’s good, I suppose. Team is “off” most of this week. Coaches are recruiting. Game week starts this Saturday.

That's also good. The team probably needs a few days to rest up before getting back to it, and recruiting has seemed very behind this season compared to previous seasons, so they have some work to do.roguewarrior wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 4:04 pm That’s good, I suppose. Some pretty classic MACtion going on with the UT/EMU game tonight. Over 600 yards of offense in the first half. I think BG will really struggle against Dequan Finn. He's mobile and he has a gun. He mixed with Koback could make it a pretty long night.

Re: vs. Toledo (11/10)
Key is limiting them on first down and getting Finn to move on passing downs. A lot to ask for, but it can be done.
