There are many reasons I would rather play Ball St., but the primary one is that I can remind everyone I run into that Ball is not a state!

Like it matters.

I wanna play EMU....tired of losing to them and I wanna see BG knock the Champs down. period.

But as long as UT loses, that will be fine.

Kent will be another tough out.

We should WANT to play EMU. It would be much more rewarding to beat the best teams, especially EMU who beat us last year!

I agree, 5 straight losses to them, we should want to beat them. We are due against them, and could've should've beaten them both times this year. I like the matchup.

I hate to tell you guys this but, I hate using language like "we're due" or whatever. It never works. If thats all you basing our luck againt them, then well thats not very good odds. Western Michgan men has had extremely good luck against us. 5 or 6 strait times the Western Michigan men has beaten us. It comes down to very bad matchups at every position. every one of EMU's players could easily beat every one of our starting five one on one. Now I know basketball is still a team sport ,but you can't forget the fact that EMU is loaded with more talent at every postion then we do. Frankly, all we can hope for is bad shooting night for EMU this Fri.

Eastern is not more talented than us. They were a year ago, but not anymore. I know for a fact that the girls were desperately hoping to play eastern in the semis. Maria fantana-rosa said she doesn't use revenge as a motivating factor...but you can bet your ass miller will. Eastern beat us twice this year because we played our two worst games of the year. Granted, a lot of that is due to them being the best defensive team in the MAC, but still, if we make any 2 of about 10-15 open 3's in either game, we would've been 15-1 in the conf. The statement that EMU is more "loaded" than us at every position is laughable. Ryan coleman is the best player in the league and nappy nikki, as much as i hate her, is about on par with liz. I'll take Carin, Ali, and Kate over their other three starters any day of the week....Including this Friday. These girls WANT EMU on Friday and they WANT Kent in the championship. You heard it here first, BG wins convincingly on friday -- 72-61.
