Loefflers Replacement
Re: Loefflers Replacement
I think it’s irresponsible to lose as much money as we do in football and not win any games.

It’s irresponsible to get the crap kicked out of you by your biggest recruiting rival on the night you brought in all your prize recruits to the sideline.
Nobody cares what anyone writes here. Cmon. Most recruits/transfers that WE attract, will be sold on we suck, and they will start when they arrive. They are going all in on the portal, so the only sell is playing time.

It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

It would be a worthwhile phone call for you to talk to somebody at the Health Department to make them aware.hammb wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 3:48 pm
I don't much care at football games since we always tailgate but sometimes the basketball games are a bit of a time crunch for us. It would be nice for there to actually be something worth eating at the games. Last week for dinner my wife and I split a $6 tub of popcorn (which is absurd even by movie theater price standards), and my son ate an ice cold piece of pizza. Honestly, I wouldn't have been remotely surprised if he had stomach issues from it, there is absolutely ZERO way that pizza would have passed a health inspection for holding temp.

You think a fellow MAC coach gives a rats ass about this message board?

Coaches from other schools can use it as a way to persuade recruits away from here.
Also agree. Recruits read everything as stated by parents, coaches, and athletes. Doing harm is also the goal by some. Whatever happened to Hiway44 anyway?

If recruits can't figure out what the deal is here on their own...they aren't smart enough for college anyway

What ever happened to schadenfraud? Is he related to Bob Moosbrugger.
We are now at the phase of terrible coach where we blame a 15 years outdated message board for hurting recruiting. This was late 2017 in the Mike Jinks era, with the same people saying it was hurting recruiting.

If this was 2005 in the height of this message board I’d buy this hurting recruits. Anymore it’s just the same 50 of us who have been here since 2002 for the most part. Instagram and Twitter is where any real damage is done.

Gregg Brandon used to read this board...when I would show up at the signing day event he would say something like "oh...the internet is here". I felt insulted...and a bit empowered. Even in 2007 the internet was a big deal.
Dakich read the board...IIRC...he was pressing our OG Grant about who one or two people were in real life.

Both coaches were colossal a-holes with regard to the board. Dakich trying to find out who people were...what the eff for? Was he going to come beat people up!? Also known to verbally namecall people from here that he DID know who they were...Flipper wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 4:21 pmGregg Brandon used to read this board...when I would show up at the signing day event he would say something like "oh...the internet is here". Hilarious when I met Brandon at Pollyeye's, one night. He & his wife were not big fans of me. Feeling was mutual.

That’s hilarious. Though your sub name was Brandon’s successor or something like thathammb wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 4:30 pmBoth coaches were colossal a-holes with regard to the board. Yeah, as it would turn out they didn't have nearly as much if a sense of humor about that as I did!kdog27 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 4:59 pmThat’s hilarious.
