If MSU retains Tucker, he could turn MSU into a real juggernaut if he stays there. It will be interesting to see if UM moves on Harbaugh. If he gets drilled by OSU again....I could see Michigan pulling the plug.

Akron is looking at OC and Alford from OSU, DC from Cincy and Purdue, and Charlie Frye.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Interesting list.

Which Co-DC from Purdue? They have three.

The current Cincinnati DC was formerly DC at MSU under Dantonio, and prior to that a LB coach and a great recruiter. I was a massive fan of him as a potential head coach when our job was open a few years ago. He would be a great midwest head coach.

Not sure. Someone in AD office passed it on to a friend.

Frye would be interesting...the lack of D1 experience beyond the MAC would be a negative..but hiring him might rebuild some goodwill with the fan base

After Loefler I would really like a guy who has head coaching experience but was fired from a major university, probably a Big ten team. I am sick of these hail mary's.

DJ Durkin is the only name that comes to mind. I would love him and believe he's redeemable but I get the doubts.

Durkin would turn the program around….BG is too soft for the media attention that would get.

Durkin was the head man at Maryland when all that went down, but his biggest issue was his strength coach was an A-hole. The kid dying was on the medical staff not the coaches.

Lots of high profile jobs open and only so many decent prospects to choose from.
