And of course 2 seconds layer Reece is sitting and O'Neal fouls while getting backed down.

Or rather, while the TRIED to back him down. He didn't move. Don't know why they called a foul really.

This team continues to make three-point shots seem like half-court shots. We're now 2-15 from three. How do this many guys struggle to shot the ball? It's really not as difficult as we sometimes make it look. SMH....

Welp.

They have continued to hit bad shots. And it looks like it got to us. Bad fouls, giving up drives for layups. Settling for bad offense.

I don't understand letting Plowden isolate for a double teamed turn around j with Fulcher as the only other strong rebounder on the floor out passed the 3 pt line.

And comes in while I was typing.

They have 21 second chance points.

We have 4.

3 times in the 2nd half Young fumbled a pass under the basket that should have been an automatic 2.

I am wondering something. You know how sometimes guys get jacked and lose their shooting touch for awhile as they get used to the new musculature? Well, our entire team looks more muscular and leaner than last year. I wonder it it is messing with their shooting. Because we cannot even make open ones right now.

Digs has lost his touch from 3 and the team continues to turnover too much and assist too little.

We had 14 combined blocks and steals.

They had 3.

And yet, we get smoked. 8 assists will do that to ya.

SUU was more athletic and frankly we matched up poorly with them. We were going to have to shoot it well to beat them and we didn't do that. Simple as that. Back at it sunday.

Such a lazy take.

They don't have much name clout but they did win their conference (regular season) last year and took Cal to double OT this year.

These dudes were big and athletic, and their point guard would run away with MAC player of the year. It was a game where we REALLY missed Caleb Fields.

It is not lazy to expect we recruit better and field a better team than Southern Utah.

I would imagine so. It was a Wednesday morning game in Florida between teams from Ohio and Utah.
