Great work by the volleyball team at the Shamrock Invitational. A 3-2 win over Milwaukee today and a 3-0 sweep over Notre Dame yesterday!

They lost in the finals today, 3-2 against Cincinnati.

But this team is legit. And I love that they’re challenging themselves as they prepare for the MAC campaign, where they are the favorites to win the league once again.

BG VB has won 7 matches in a row and they're now 6-0 in MAC play after sweeping the west-leading Western Michigan Broncos today. Keep it up, BG!

BG has now won 12 straight matches after sweeping Eastern Michigan this weekend.

They’re now 15-6 overall and 11-0 in MAC play.

In the ice arena lounge before the hockey game they had the volleyball match on. They also had members of the women’s soccer team interacting with the hockey crowd. My dad and I had a 20 minute conversation with them. Great group of Falcons, and a great idea to promote the non-revenue sports.

The Falcons (21-8, 16-2) are playing for the MAC Championship against Ball State tomorrow afternoon. Ball State is extremely good and the #1 overall seed. They finished 17-1 in the MAC (27-3 overall) and handled BG in their meeting earlier this season, but that's why they play the games. Let's hope for yet another conference championship this season!
