Kit Hughes News

Post by mbenecke »

Not trying to stir the pot by posting this, but felt it was appropriate information to add here, given the discussion on this board in the past few months:

Kit Hughes has been named the new Director of Athletics at Holy Cross.

Good for him. He's from Boston IIRC so that puts him back home. Best of luck to him moving forward. Curious if Moose tries to fill the role internally or brings someone in from outside.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Just saying his name brings a smile to my face here…. Ha! Some good comedy the last few years.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

I was just thinking the same. Don’t know him from Adam. He did send a note once with some kind words about my kid, so I have nothing bad to say. I will miss the subject though! Ha

If we don't see guest44 for a while, it's because he's too busy celebrating.

Good for him. My only interaction with him was at the Buffalo game in 2015 and he was a nice guy.

I've had several interactions with Kit. All positive. He's a guy who can both defend the program he runs and accept input from alums and fans. Good personable man and I wish him all the best leading an athletic department.

Thank you Holy Cross! The 50th time was the charm. Your mistake is BGSU's long term gain. It might take a few more weeks to get his ego to Massachusetts unfortunately.
