Of course they would advance Kehres to head coach and he would be a massive upgrade.

Cincinnati hired Kerry Coombs to coach CBs and STs. Former great high school coach in Cincinnati, had a poor run at OSU but prior to was a great coach everywhere he had been and an elite recruiter.

And as for a BG note. The length of tenures of BG coaches since Meyer - 2 years, 6 years, 5 years, 2 years, 3 years, and Loeffler is going into year 4. So unless Loeffler becomes a Chuck Martin or Frank Solich (and I wouldn't mind that kind of success and stability one bit), the BG job may be open around the same time Kerry Coombs is in a good position to be a MAC head coach. He is as connected as anyone to Ohio high school coaches. Just keep an eye on him.
