What a bunch of suck in the 3rd and overtime.

Sorry guys. I didn’t turn it on until the 3rd and clearly jinxed it when I didn’t turn it off after OSU scored those two quick ones. My bad.

Hopefully this helps us learn how to close out games.
Bring back the glory!

What a joke. Against NHL talent you skate for 60 minutes or you lose. I hate that defense. Let’s sit back and take 26 shots to the face

This doesn’t inspire confidence. The whole just don’t give up a goal has bitten us many many many times. Sorry… I’m frustrated.BGhockeyfan94 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 9:26 pm Hopefully this helps us learn how to close out games.

I was hoping we’d put the Bergeron can’t close out games in the rear view mirror.
Edit: at least this game wasn’t for the league championship.

Can't play not to lose. BG was content with dumping pucks in and refused to play offense the entire 3rd. Recipe for disaster.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 9:36 pm I was hoping we’d put the Bergeron can’t close out games in the rear view mirror.

Went and saw the Spider-Man movie tonight.
Glad I chose the movie over an epic 3rd period collapse. Sheesh, man.
Sold out crowd on Friday night. Here’s hoping the boys will bring it and deliver a split.

What a disappointment. We dominated--goals, shots, faceoffs, zone time--much of the game.
The way I saw the interference call that led to OSU's first goal was their guy ran into our guy from behind and fell down.

Re: @/vs. Ohio State (12/16-12/17)
Both interference calls were the result of a referee LOOKING for a penalty. Craggs, eyes on puck and blueline, most likely didn't even know player BEHIND him was there. Burke, obviously checked and unable to avoid contact with goalie. Both the result of a B1G team getting their asses handed to them by a "lowly, mid level CCHA" opponent.

Re: @/vs. Ohio State (12/16-12/17)
Meh. I hate blaming officials. BG lost the game because they took their foot off the gas and allowed the Buckeyes off the ropes. The hockey version of the prevent defense in the 3rd period is the worst strategy in the game. Play the full 60 minutes and it's a W.pdt1081 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 10:06 pmBoth interference calls were the result of a referee LOOKING for a penalty. Hope for a split tonight but I feel like BG missed their chance to pick off a game. Really frustrating.
