Stud now available
Ohio State decided to move in a different direction, so Greg Studrawa is out after six seasons as the Buckeyes OL coach.

Re: Stud now available
We should have hired Stud about three coaches ago as our HEAD COACH. How about today?

Hutchinson and Ojabo made him expendable.....
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: Stud now available
Stud seems like he really wants to be at BG. Not sure if there's an opening here for him where he'd be qualified but I'd be interested in bringing him on in some capacity. He was a hell of an OC back in the day.

Re: Stud now available
It’s time for a “ BRING BACK STUD” campaign!
Seems to me as it would make a lot of sense(so it probably won’t happen) because our O line has been a BIG problem, not to mention Stud is a GREAT recruiter.

Just spitballing here. The OL coach has coached just about every position on offense. Any chance the offense staff could shuffle a bit to move someone to coach STs, then make an opening for Stud at OL?

Re: Stud now available
I wonder if knowing Stud's ties to BG, that Loeffler would resist hiring him in for fear of possibly bringing his replacement into the program if next year doesn't go well? Of course, if the O line problems got fixed and we started winning games, then he wouldn't need to worry about being replaced.
The other part of that is the financial. We could only pay him a fraction of what he's been making over the last 15 years and I'm not sure the tug of coming home would outweigh the difference in salary he could likely pull elsewhere.

I doubt we can afford him. Maybe that will change, but I don't see him serving as an assistant here unless his has trouble landing the right fit at an FBS powerhouse.
Re: Stud now available
My guess is that Stud has been making BIG money long enough, it will not be a huge factor in his next job.
