His list is down to 100 opportunities.

It’s a good sign the joke is bad if you have to explain it… ha!

DJ Taylor, a LB from Wake Forest, has committed to BG.

He had offers from Wake, Army, Navy, Purdue, Toledo, and Vanderbilt out of high school as a three-star prospect. He played in 27 games for Wake over 4 years, including 12 this fall.

Nice grab! I watched several Wake gamest his year and he was a bit down the depth chart but played very well in his time on the field. He'll be a quality addition on and off the field.

Camden Orth, a QB transfer from Long Island University, has committed to BG.

He’s originally from Gainesville, FL in the class of 2019.

Apparently he has three years of eligibility and was the starting QB on a bad team that just hired a new coach. I don't have anything really to judge him on as video is sparse, I just hope between him and the other QBs on roster that somebody can legit challenge McDonald for playing time and make everyone better in the process, and that come end of the 2022 season we have a QB ready to go for 2023.

Hey!! A QB!!!

LIU is an FCS school...apparently Orth was pretty lightly recruited coming out of Gainesville...but that doesn't always mean anything.
LIU's team name is the Sharks...their logo is pretty badass. They just hired Ron Cooper as their HC..he's had more MAC success than our current coach.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Orth is listed as dual threat QB, so if true he'd definitely be a nice change of pace option to have even if McDonald retains the starting job (which we probably all expect to happen).

We have a dual threat QB. Labronz D. There is NO change of pace alternative in this offense.

In watching the highlights, listing him as a dual threat seems generous. Seems more like a pocket passer with a bit of mobility. I like his size and pretty quick release, but arm strength seems below average. Doesn't seem like someone who would challenge McDonald at first glance.

I’m guessing Loeffler just needs to help him make a couple adjustments and considering the improvements we’ve seen from that position, the kid is in good hands.
