And another BG goal. Sam Craggs while shorthanded.

Falcons outshooting Bemidji by a 17-9 margin while trailing 3-2…

This was a good period for us. Much better play. We’re in this now.

4-2 after Craggs committed a trip to put BG down two men.

Just like that it's 5-2 and that will just about do it.

Add 2 more Bemidji goals in the first 2 minutes. We were on the kill for both.

5-2 Beavers and this one’s probably over.

BG gets one back on the PP unit from Swankler.

5-3, halfway through the third.

I haven't skated in 20 years, and I'm fairly certain I could've skated through that "trip."

As the saying goes, you can't win a hockey game in the first period but you can certainly lose it. BG fell victim to that tonight. Microcosm of the season.

I also got an autographed photo along with the bobblehead. Ah, the perks of the Falcon Club.

Swankler's goal highlights the offensive differences between this year and last year. He got the pass from Schneider and had to collect it and tee it up before shooting. Last year, Kruse would have had that puck right in the wheelhouse for Ford or Wright to one-time it. Glad it went in but there are a lot of chances that pass us by because we have to take that extra second to get the shot off.

And it looked like Rose played the last part of the game hurt. Anybody else see that?

In the 3rd saw him down and have a little trouble getting up. Play was headed to the other end, along with the camera shots. Broadcasters didn't say anything. Then I forgot about it.

Yup. After that second powerplay goal. He was stretching between every whistle (at least what could be seen on TV).

GAME 2:

Stoever appears to be starting. Wozney is out of the lineup and we’re going with the extra forward tonight, so it’s Brayden Krieger.

Dougherty and Swankler swapped lines. We’ll see if that provides a spark.

GOAL! Coale Norris with a snipe that beats the tendy stick side and there are teddy bears all over the ice.
