Congrats to Jonathan Sigalet, CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year Nominee:

GOOD LUCK, JONATHAN!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Congrats, Jonathon.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time till MikeTheMullet posts his objections to Jonathon's worthiness for this honor

Noticed in the Perani Cup standings on CCHA that UNO's goalie played in all 29 of UNO's 28 games. That deserves special recognition.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

If the CCHA keeps all the records it doesn't suprise me. They also had the picture for UNO's Scholar Athlete of the Year's nominee wrong.

He'll likely just say that he wishes the professors at Ohio State would fix grades so THEIR student-athletes could excel in the class room... wait a minute...

(Oh yeah, and he'll throw in something unnecessary and completely insensitive, too.)
