Didn’t see the game last night, but saw Brett lead the team in scoring against the Huskies.

BG has gone 1-1 since their last meeting with the bottle rockets. Second matchup today at 2.

This team is sorely needs a presence in the post. Glowiniak and Perry weren't centerpieces...but they occupied the middle defensively, were decent rebounders and if you needed a bucket you could count on them to find you some offense down low.

This team lacks that

Agree. But none on the horizon based on 2022-23 commits. Have to see what happens. I expect some end of the bench players may look to transfer after this season.

I agree that BG could use more of a post presence, but another team that could use one is Miami, and the Falcons definitely took advantage last night. BGSU was successful in the paint, from the three-point line, on the defensive end ... basically everywhere. BGSU can be a very fun team to watch, and they certainly were last night.

Senior Day game vs. Ohio tomorrow at 1 pm. It's a game featuring the teams picked to finish first (OU) and second (BG) in the MAC in the preseason poll. BGSU obviously lost Fleming for the season, and the Falcons are in the middle of the pack in the league standings. Ohio has had a lot of players miss games lately, and the Bobcats currently are in ninth place. Whether it's from COVID, from injuries, or all of the above, they've had a very short bench at times & actually had to finish their game at NIU with just 4 players on the court after 2 players fouled out and 2 others collided going for a rebound. Ohio has two of the best players in the MAC in Cece Hooks and Erica Johnson, but the Falcons have played great at home this month, and BG has one of the deeper teams in the league, so hopefully that depth will play a factor tomorrow. Should be a fun one!

Big win over a very good Kent team last night. Hampton was the one who stepped up last night.

Is Elissa Brett hurt? She's missed the last two games

I know that she was announced as OUT the last two games, so I assume injury. Fralick seems to be pretty coy with injury information. I still don't think we know exactly what Fleming's season ender was, do we?

I was pretty sure we had heard it was an ACL, but I could be wrong.

That's some really bad luck..Brett is one of those players that can fill a stat sheet with a little bit of everything

MB was talking about Lexi with the ACL, not Elissa, just to clarify! I don't think Elissa's injury or absence is going to be long-term.

To clarify - yes. I was talking about Fleming, not Brett. My assumption is that Brett should be back soon.

I got that...I think it's a shame Brett is hurt at all. She's maybe the most versatile player on the team

I agree with this. She can bang down low and finish, she has a nice little jumper, and she can defend. Really good player - glad she has more 2 more years of eligibility after this year, if she wants.
