Implying there are none. Hell, make me a moderator. I’ve been on here 15 years (I checked yesterday out of curiosity).

Honestly, unless it was something super embarrassing for the students, they should just go public with the stupidity. It might actually lead to a change in leadership just due to the optics.

They should go public with it, but be strategic in not letting Huger hide from the media. In other words, Saturday around 5pm.

I know Dave Briggs has been busy dealing with the fact that UT is actually GOOD in both men's and women's hoops, and the fact that UT is hiring a new athletic director as well. I hope when the UT stories start to lessen that he'll find time to get some articles done about the current state of BG athletics. Specifically whether or not we too will be looking for a new AD. Will we be looking for a new hoops coach. WHERE DOES THE FRACK MONEY ACTUALLY GO!? etc.

He does a good job, and he's the only member of the local media who doesn't simply regurgitate whatever press releases BG puts out (or doesn't).

Do we need mods? I was a moderator when Grant owned the site...I had to deal with the occasional troll or people making unsubstantiated statements about people (player X gets labelled as a "crackhead " after a marijuana arrest) but the site doesn't have nearly the amount of traffic that it had back then...I know we have some very critical people who tend to make the same points ( I do that) a lot...but I don't think that requires moderation...especially when there's an ignore feature

Holy crap!! It will be 18 years for me this summer and I don't have many posts to show for it.

In retirement (54 days from now) I might help on moderating. I do it for another group, not related to basketball.

I'm not a fan of Hugor, so that might be part of a resume' Actually, the coach is a tool. I'm not fond of LOSING.

This feels a lot like the beginning of the end.....a tired coach resigning.

How old are his kids....probably won't want to pull them out of school if he can avoid it.

He isn't walking away from the money. Moosbrugger handed him the money and he is going to take it regardless of how miserable it gets.

Hammb, did you get any indication of an altercation of something in particular on Tuesday night, or more of what you could visibly see throughout the season at games?

Nothing, but I am also notoriously bad at paying attention to stuff on the sidelines. I watch the game, I talk with my wife, I keep my kid entertained. He's 6, so he's heavily invested in trying to get T-shirts or other giveaways; we typically spend several minutes of every game taking pictures and hanging with Freida & Freddie, etc. Bathroom breaks, concessions ,etc.

I barely even have time these days to try and post in game threads on here when we're at the arena, rarely do I pay much attention to anything going on beyond the white lines.

As for the age of Huger's son I don't think he's even in Jr. High yet, but could be wrong. They came into BG burgers while we were eating after the game a couple weeks ago, and he's certainly not to HS age yet.
