I blame nobody who doesn't have, or choses not to spend multiple thousands of dollars to have a forum space to talk hoops. i have no idea what kind of revenue this place generates, but it doesn't matter because I could never DREAM of spending money that way.

No, Globe. It was a commercial board with an e-commerce website. The owner wanted $8K and I wanted to pay $4. We dicked around for about 6 months and another buyer paid the asking price. I don't have the time or knowledge to build a board from scratch and it was simpler to let it go. The new owner is struggling, but he made it an extension to his existing business. Since I'm winding down, I couldn't justify the expense.

Suprisingly, it only costs about $400 or less to run a board like this.

You clearly do not suffer anxiety. Seeing the attacks in print, even when they are not directed at you, can send you spiraling badly, quickly.

It's not something you can ignore.

But you CAN block people so once you have figured out who it is that is going to set you off over and over you can block them and never see what they write ever again.

This assumes you can stick it out long enough to figure that out instead of just leaving and never looking back.

Obviously bans can and do happen way to easily sometimes. Maybe they shouldn't be possible. Maybe they should, but the process itself is enough of a pain in the ass to keep people from using it lightly.

Comparing having a moderator who can and will ban people for being egregious trolls over and over to an overly vigilant HOA is not debating in good faith though. It's exaggeration and not helpful to either your position or the discussion in general.

Do you think that if the result of the Buffalo game would have been different, that Myron and Joe would still be on the team? If BG loses 95-85 they are probably still on the team? If BG wins they certainly are?

Huger had 10 plus minutes of clock time to avoid 112 points being scored. He could have slowed that game down. He kept pressing, he kept playing starters. He kept playing two of his best players Joe Reece and Myron Gordon. Then, after the game he is reading stats and is being asked about a record breaking amount of points being scored. Everything he and the coaches read on Twitter is about 112 points. Did Huger mention the code ofconduct to Joe after he played 18 minutes in that game? Or the next day?

Joe or Myron wasn’t even told why they were dismissed from the team!!!

They were asked to the office told that..
They are in shock, don’t know what to do but accept it and they both in that cloud of confusion said on abs walked out. Joe cried after he got away from the office… Got himself together and told Me.. they didn’t know… weren’t given a reason.. no paperwork nothing!

Then I called him.. no answer.. texted him.. Called Coach Watkins who informed me that he was in as much shock as we were… he was unaware that they were going to go through with it!
Because they actually did talk about… after the lose.. Huger pissed said he gotta do something.. then made the suggestions to them about cutting some people!
He also said if I cut somebody it gotta be big!
Who else was bigger than Joe and Myron … blame them .. like they were whatever and go forward giving them the image that he’s doing something.. the rest … well the story isn’t over …

I would suggest trying to discuss with someone else in the athletic department, but one of those people has a kid on team who will be a main beneficiary of playing time with Reece and Gordon gone. Contact Rodney Rogers.

I actually did call and reached out to him the afternoon it all happened. I met him on our visit, had a pleasant conversation and he gave me his card, told me to call him if I ever needed anything and that he was excited about my son coming there etc etc…. I even said ok cool like a in case of emergency I can call you… he agreed..
I called him he sent me Moose buggers .
He didn’t even return my call.
So there’s that … I’m gonna have to find out who’s on the board of trustees and such ..

So I also have a question about the late Bill Frack money….
Huger uses it in his spill during recruiting.
But I’m noticing, especially when he didn’t get my Son a freaking coat… those boys really don’t have a lot of anything.. Like a few pairs of shoes… not as many joggers and stuff, and also, so the last time I visited the boys didn’t even have much to eat.. they were like real college student broke! And for whatever reason.. they don’t really tell us, as parents I just so happen to see it first hand!
But like after they pay their rent and internet.. Shoot they don’t have much of their stipend!
Joe was actually working whenever he could.. trying to be responsible ..
But there’s really something fishy about this!
Because granted Joe prior was at ODU old dominion…
And they don’t have no where near a 12 million anything but truly had all the bells, whistles and perks of a student athlete!

Can someone please break it all down… because I was thinking about researching on this …

We have no idea where the Frack money is being spent. The original intent was to help BGSU in scheduling and to help obtain and retain the best coaches. Laugh out loud at both of those. One year BGSU spent nearly 135k in recruiting. That recruiting class included a guard from Cleveland and the Assistant AD’s son.

Initially the money was spent and BG hosted Cincinnati. Now they host either a local non D1 or Toledo in the game. It’s a complete joke.

No worries, Michael Huger is having fun coaching again. No worries Bowling Green had its best two practices of the season this week now that the season is basically over. This program is a joke and an embarrassment.

I would be willing to bet that one of the stipulations on that money is that a "Frack challenge" game be held every year. I'm guessing it was not supposed to be UT or Findlay.

I just can't come up with any other reason they'd still waste time calling our rivalry game the "Frack challenge" if it wasn't stipulated in the donation.

It was 20 million!!!!! Oh wow that’s crazy!! So clearly they misused the money! It’s funny that you say that because the initial tournament was in Florida against some ….. clearly out of the wazzoo teams Southern Utah and Milwaukee??? Like seriously… of al the competition and all the tip off tournaments.. Ft Myers FLORIDA? It was weird..
but no real competition to truly see what you are working with. And we saw that we fell short there!
