Cato June
Re: Cato June
Played for the Colts and now coaching for them. Can’t blame him for wanting to make it to the league. Best of luck, Coach June!
Here’s hoping we find a quality replacement.

I swear Scott hires some of these guys just so they'll get a paycheck for a spell before their real job starts because he's their friend...he knows they aren't going to be here for the season

Flip, he was on staff for the last football season. I met him in spring 2021 on campus. Good guy, he will be missed. He was drawing interest from Harbaugh for his revamped defense last year.

Mark is right that he was here for this past season, but I’m just here to recognize that I got a good laugh from the Boomer reference.Flipper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 6:55 am Channeling my inner Chris Berman circa 1983

Re: Cato June
Linebackers definitely improved during his time here. Seemed to do a great job recruiting talent to campus, but keeping them was a bit of a crapshoot (I suppose it always is now). I thought he was a good ambassador for BG on Twitter and seemed to do a great job connecting with the younger players. I hope we replace him with someone who has a similar type of resume.

It's not like he wasn't doing anything before coming to BG. Coached at Howard and UMass. We should be happy that coaches from the program are going to the NFL.Flipper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 6:55 am Channeling my inner Chris Berman circa 1983

He was well liked. Younger. Played in the league, so that means something to the kids. Lewis appeared to be interviewing with someone in the facility last night….
