I know they let him put his name on that paddle last week (and my god it pisses me off that they keep that stupid tradition when it's an effing PADDLE not an OAR), but boy he was outclassed in that game.
I don't think he consistently sees minutes on that Ohio Wesleyan team.

If Elssasser gets Justin Turners minutes I think he puts up better stats.hammb wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 4:33 pm I know they let him put his name on that paddle last week (and my god it pisses me off that they keep that stupid tradition when it's an effing PADDLE not an OAR), but boy he was outclassed in that game.

Just watching video. Seems like an ideal replacement for Plowden's spot. He is nasty.fredthefalcon wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 12:05 pm JUCO Offer for Fr SF 6'7" or some say 6'8" Jonathan Mogbo out of Florida. Playing this year at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Looks like a leaper and a dunker. Has quite a few mid major offers-- Iona, Coastal Car., Kent, N. Tex, LA-Monroe, Chicago State, and Southern. Would not be surprised that the BG second recruit would be one of these last two players offered.

Maybe some good news for a change. 6'9" Jamai Felt from Randallstown Md. has committed for next year. Looks like good hops but is a little thin.

A very athletic-looking big man. Looks pretty explosive from the few clips I saw of him. Definitely right that he looks thin and he'll need to hit the weight room before seeing the floor here, but looks like a solid pickup. Also shoots lefty, which is interesting.fredthefalcon wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 11:52 am Maybe some good news for a change. 6'9" Jamai Felt from Randallstown Md. has committed for next year. If Chet Holmgren can dominate D1 hoops at 7ft and 195lbs...we may have to revisit the concept of "too thin"

Re: 2021-2022 Recruiting
Sat next to him and his family who were on a recruiting visit for the ball st game. Nice family dad was really into the game and was actively pointing out things players were doing during the game.
Obviously has nothing to do with the kids talent but I usually don't sit next to recruits. Was curious who it was as I didn't catch the full last name

Re: 2021-2022 Recruiting
Videos remind me of an undeveloped Richaun Holmes. Can naturally block shots and play above the rim, but nothing that shows he's great with the ball or has a good touch on his shot. A project, but exactly the kind of frame that can come in and develop into a MAC star.

Etim-Lightfoot and Feit all look like solid MAC rotational players with high upside. What a gift Huger is giving the next coach that will take over in April. Ryan Pedon can do a lot with these guys and the Xfers he gets from OSU etc.

He has hops...quick hops. Some guys have to gather a bit before they go up...but he's off the floor quickly

Re: 2021-2022 Recruiting
You have to have length and athleticism to win in today’s college hoops. Our roster has been lacking this. Looks like he could be a nice recruit.
