Scapegoat Season -- Game 3 Vs. Western Michigan

Post by guest44 »

Now, this is going to be FUN. Western Michigan (334) at Bowling Green (267) for senior night. Bowling Green is -8.5 the total is 153.5.

Predictions outside of FUN?

Predictions?

A decent amount of students will show up and watch the Freddie and Frieda reveal and then leave with more than 10 minutes left in the game.

BG should win this one. It’ll probably be closer than it needs to be. I have to imagine WMU covers +8.5.

Hoping they win this one for Plowden. Even though it’s not the final home game, it’s senior night - and he deserves it for all he has given the program.

Have to agree with this. Western has looked better the past couple of weeks besides the second half against toledo. I'm afraid Norman Jr will go off on our defense. Should be an entertaining game score wise which is sad but an honest reflection of where we are right now. Luckily we're doing senior night on the last Saturday instead of Tuesday against Ohio

Why is Huger losing games intentionally?

What else explains pulling Kula in the middle of having good games time after time with nobody to back him up?

Let’s go ahead and call this. A not so fun loss to one of the worst teams the MAC has seen, coached by someone paid half of what the previous coach made.

Michael Huger career MAC record is now 58-68 and he is 0-3 in scapegoat games.

Losing by 10 to the worst team in the MAC… probably means we’re the worst team in the MAC.

No question in my mind BG is the worst team currently in the MAC. We either have another year like this next year or maybe even worst with this group. I see few bright spots for next year.

We're officially the worst team in the conference. We're going to have a mass exit this offseason regardless of the coach

Not to be mean but who is going to want some of these guys? Seriously? Curtis has been to several schools. I think he stays and does provide some offense. Mills isn’t going anywhere, O’Neal needs to go somewhere, Fulcher, Turner and Young don’t seem to be that hot of a commodity. I think about how Jans came in with a team picked near last and competed for a championship.

WMU was winless on the road this year, until today....just sickening. This program is an utter mess.

Is it bad that I sat in the stands and just started laughing at some of the terrible play?

This nonsense about Jan’s coming in and making a very competitive team propaganda only sets the next guy up to fail. There is nobody with NBA size and athleticism coming back next year. NOBODY. A new coach means restart get MAC champ caliber fantasy in check. Major pieces need added regardless of coach. The three best big bodies with athleticism were honored as seniors tonight. What’s left are slim and/or short bodies.

Which makes kicking Reece off the team look all the more ridiculous.

Tonight was bad. I don’t know why we play O’Neal? It seems like when he’s in things go downhill FAST! Plowden took some awful shots. Is it me or has he lost some athleticism? Maybe just beat up from the season... My 6 year old kept asking me “Daddy why is that man yelling so much” .. she was referring to assistant Watkins. Almost became comical because he’s just as bad as Huger. Always seems mad.
