We haven’t been to a game in weeks. Our son goes to bed before 8:00, so any 7:00 games are out. I watch on TV, but I didn’t watch last night and I’m glad I didn’t. I’m thinking that we may only catch one final game this year and travel to Toledo for the Dina game of the year. My wife is a UT grad, so we try to make every rivalry game. It’s just a shame that the result is already known before we enter the arena.

That Toledo game is on my birthday. If it were a season where we legitimately had something to play for, we would’ve gone for sure. Instead, we’re going to see the Walleye that night instead.

I don’t want to go into their building and get embarrassed. We already know it’s going to happen, so for me, it’s kind of just a question of why watch? Why care? Why travel to support the team?

I agree with you. I definitely would not go to that game. Birthday or not, why travel and pay money to watch that game in person? If we win, great, you can enjoy it from home. If we lose, you can shut your laptop (or close the window on your phone or whatever) and be done with it. I'd love to see us beat Toledo, but there's no reason to attend that one in person on the 1% (or less) chance that we pull off a miracle win.

Huger's presser last night was just him throwing his arms up. He's out of ideas basically saying the players all know what needs to happen to win, it's up to them if they want to or not.

Jokes aside i think this in itself is a summary of the season and a perfect representation of where the team is at this current point. He couldn’t get the team to gel in non conference play, never adjusted once we got to conference play, now it’s just a throw your hands up in the air and admit you don’t have the answers. It’s just too bad. We deserve better.

So, have you figured out that there were some equipment issues, or do you just want to blindly abuse a crew with strong history and strong relationships and mutual respect with the on court crews?

I have figured out that on the night of the game in question there were some equipment issues. I also figured out a long time ago that some of those guys on the scorer's table need to go. I've been to a lot of games around the MAC over the last 3 or 4 decades, and BGSU consistently has more 'equipment issues' than just about anywhere else. At some point there's 'operator error' involved.
