Offseason 2022
Re: Offseason 2022
I’d think they’d have done it already if they were going to do it. If they are still going to do it, it’ll be Friday to try and avoid as much media coverage as possible.

The only reason he wouldn't be fired is money. Maybe it takes awhile to figure out the money.

What media coverage?

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Unsure if posted elsewhere, Ball State fired their coach.
MarkL has spoken.

I ain't a law talking guy...but they might be on the process of negotiating Huger's departure...particularly if there are any actions that can be seen as rising to the level of canning him with cause.

Could be. Also could be canning the athletic director. That baseball donation stuff is nuts.

That would be best case scenario firing the AD. But I don’t think they can fire Huger and Moosbrugger at the same time. You can’t wait months to hire a coach and I’m sure they wouldn’t want an interim AD making the hire. I don’t understand how Moosebrugger is still employed? It is almost baffling at this point.

I literally LOLed.
More seriously: I'm not seeing cause here.
Re: Offseason 2022
Yeah, I really think Huger is a good guy and a good representative of the University. Just not a good coach. Can't imagine there is cause. I think IF they are trying to let him go, the delay is coming up with the buyout money OR negotiating his stepping down.Schadenfreude wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 10:09 amI literally LOLed.

Maybe he is thinking if he wants to come back for another year.BillyLP wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 11:00 amYeah, I really think Huger is a good guy and a good representative of the University. It would be really hard for me personally to go out and have that be my last year as a head coach. But then I would run an offense.....and not take any player off the transfer portal who wanted to come to my team.....
Re: Offseason 2022
He’s not considering resigning…he’s gonna get that money one way or another.
