Both of these ball state rumored guys could be candidates here

https://hoopdirt.com/daily-dirt-3-22-22/

UCLA assistant Michael Lewis’ name is making the rounds at Ball State. The Indiana native who played at IU for Bob Knight got an endorsement from his current boss Mick Cronin last week. Also hearing that current BSU associate head coach Linc Darner is in the mix. He’s the former HC at Green Bay who won a D2 National Championship at Florida Southern while going 219–72 (.753) in his 9-years there. Also, at least two Big Ten assistants have tried to get involved.

Miami had extended Owens after last season. They realized they were going nowhere and made the change.

Toledo had zero seniors so with no new minutes available and incoming freshman it's not surprising. Unfortunately they have big potential next year for a Mac program

Mike Summey was fired from NC State yesterday. He was part of a pretty solid staff here and I thought he'd eventually be a head coach somewhere, but clearly wasn't getting the job done in Raleigh.

I’d take him back in a heartbeat.

Sounds like Ball State is hiring Lewis today.

Same. Him and coach Noon and Stacey seem like the best of the group.

Man what they are doing is pretty amazing. There is nothing about their season that would have indicated even the slightest potential to do this.

Saint Peters story is unbelievable. Good experienced guards win games in the NCAA tournament. I thought they would cover (+12.5/13 points) but didn’t think they could win. Just over Twenty years ago was Kent States magical run to the elite eight. They can beat North Carolina and it won’t surprise me if they do.

OSUFALCON wrote: Tue Mar 22, 2022 1:33 pm Saddi Washington is huge hire for Western Michigan. This program will be very strong in years to come. Washington is very well connected in the Midwest. I won’t be surprised to see them in the running by MAC tournament time next year. Saddi played on a very good WMU team.
Now hearing that Saddi Washington turned down the WMU offer...

Just coming over to post. After apparent change of heart, Saddi Washington staying at UM.

Even as an asst they were discussing on the 247 site that he makes more money than Western has paid the last two coaches.
