Re: The whole story
I can't see Strack's twitter...the little pisher blocked me. Must not have taken kindly to me making fun of his chicken tenders obsession
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: The whole story
I actually really like Strack, but it bothers me that he talks so highly of Toledo and almost never discusses it when they do poorly, but really seems to almost enjoy ragging on BG for our failures by making special note of tweeting about them when they happen.
Just as an example, he’ll tweet criticizing how poorly the basketball team is playing against Ohio State in the regular season, but UT lost their NIT game by 20 and he didn’t utter a peep about it. Just feels a little unfair, especially knowing he’s a BG guy.

Re: The whole story
I think he wants to be *the* sports guy of Toledo and panders a lot in order to do so. I never detect any malice and he seems like a good dude, but yeah his coverage is pretty biased.mbenecke wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 12:50 pmI actually really like Strack, but it bothers me that he talks so highly of Toledo and almost never discusses it when they do poorly, but really seems to almost enjoy ragging on BG for our failures by making special note of tweeting about them when they happen.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

He does a pretty good job…in fairness BG athletics doesn’t throw out a lot of positives to report on. UT is a shithole, but BG is so bad at almost everything, it makes UT look respectable.
