Heard that he’s heading to ASU. While we don’t know the details, Serratore is a solid coach, runs a good program, has guys in the NHL. He loses one of his best players early to a “big” school. The portal makes it a whole new world.

My Sparty buddy says the current players voiced their displeasure about Cole during exit interviews. Plan was to keep him around one more season, but there were threats of more defections if he was going to be retained. That program is a mess and this will only prolong the misery regardless of who gets hired.

Too bad for Brandon. Hopefully he lands on his feet somewhere. I saw he only scored three goals this year for BC which was surprising.

23 assists though. He's always been more of a setup man than a shooter.

There some guys who are killing it in the ECHL but just can't seem to catch fire in the AHL this year.

Baylis - Tucson (AHL): 12 games, 0/1/1 Rapid City (ECHL): 47 games, 22/22/44
Craggs - Rochester (AHL): 24 games, 2/1/3 Cincinnati (ECHL): 33 games, 12/18/30

Michigan State and BC are now vacant, and Mel Pearson's contract at UM expires at the end of the month. Lots to watch for.
