How do these vagabonds think they're going to get their degree? Moving around that much has to be incredibly disruptive academically

They are more interested in playing pro ball overseas, I would think.

This is the way I see it, too. The guys that are moving around a bunch are doing it so they can set themselves up to play pro ball, in some capacity. Whether that's intelligent or misguided really depends on the player. But that's what I see as the motivation for it.

Most programs require the players to stay and take summer classes. Not sure on each guy, but with the academic advising they receive and taking classes year round, they probably aren’t that far from graduation. Not to mention schools are bending over backwards to get transfers and credits are transferring much easier for a lot of majors.

Leon Ayers III from Duquesne is transferring in.

Also John Groce was just extended at Akron through the 2030 season.

I would hope so...I understand wanting to pursue a dream, but putting all your eggs in the "Europa" basket could be a recipe for long term failure

I’m not getting myself overly excited over any transfers this year. Going to wait and see the product on the floor. Nice to know Leon has had individual success in college, but lesson learned this season was these transfers are not always the answer. Hope this season is different and staff did their homework this time around. Curious how the staff will manage a guard rotation if Metheny, Lightfoot, Fulcher, Mills, Curtis, Ayers

1. "Yeah, but" that Jamai Felt kid looks very, very interesting.

2. Ayers, Fulcher, and Curtis can swing to the 3 spot. Fulcher has a knack for getting rebounds and shaking loose off the ball.

Can anyone figure out what Jamai Felt did in 2021-2022? It's a mystery.

According to a tweet, he played in the “post-grad division” in 2021-2022.

I have no idea what that means, but it sounds like playing a year between high school and college.

Does anyone have confidence in Huger being able to take a mix of scholarship holdovers and transfers and develop them into anything cohesive as a basketball team? Not me. It’s just seems that we are just playing his contract out. Sad.

No faith in the coaching, but pretty happy with the recruiting so far. Two freshman and two transfers seems to be a good method with a variety of size and skills.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

No. I like to delude myself in the offseason to keep me occupied until football starts.

Given he hasn't demonstrated he can win without having an all-conference player on the roster, the answer should be a resounding no.

Nope...not even a little bit
