I have no idea what that means, but it sounds like playing a year between high school and college.

Re: Offseason 2022
Post-grad is basically junior college without losing a year of eligibility. Players typically attend prep schools or go to basketball academies. It's a method kids use who want to go play D1 but perhaps need another year of development. From what I've researched it's not cheap so the investment is a bit of a gamble.mbenecke wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 9:41 amAccording to a tweet, he played in the “post-grad division” in 2021-2022.Globetrotter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 9:01 am Can anyone figure out what Jamai Felt did in 2021-2022? The investment paid off...He gets to learn D1 basketball under the Michael Huger learning tree

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: Offseason 2022
Rumor from "non insider" but good guy to know (who usually knows more than he let's on) on UM 24/7 page that Emoni and former Sparty guard Rocket Watts (played this past season at Mississippi St) will be coming "home" to play for . . . wait for it . . . Eastern Michigan
Re: Offseason 2022
Emoni looks to be headed to Louisville based on the recent 24/7 crystal ball movement
Re: Offseason 2022
Ubong Etim was shot in the chest in Toledo last night.
Sounds like he’s okay, but a scary situation that could’ve been tragic. Hope he gets better soon.

He posted on his Instagram story. I believe the 24 hour window to view the story is up, but there are still a few posts from him thanking people for their thoughts and prayers and whatnot.
It wasn’t ever reported as news anywhere, as far as I’m aware. But it apparently did happen.

If you get shot in Toledo and it doesn’t kill you it’s not even news anymore!mbenecke wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 10:31 pmHe posted on his Instagram story. Re: Offseason 2022
A leak of the non-conference schedule has these games. Some are without dates, and there are still 3 slots remaining so there will be more games added.
But here’s what we know so far:
11/12 @ Oakland
11/15 @ Wright State
12/3 vs. Morgan State
12/11 @ Hampton
12/14 @ Norfolk State
Games without dates:
vs. Southern Indiana (MTE)
@ Notre Dame (MTE)
@ St. Bonaventure (MTE)
Because of the home/road imbalance, I would assume we’ll be adding some home games to balance out the slate.

Here are some projected power rankings for the 2022-2023 season. Bowling Green rolls in at 272 in the country. Not quite what Bill Frack intended.

Pretty decent OOC away slate, really. Should be a decent turnout for BG to WSU and Notre Dame. St. Bonnies has been a solid program of late and should also have a top 150 RPI team this year.mbenecke wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 8:20 am A leak of the non-conference schedule has these games. Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Probably waiting to hear back from Findlay, Lourdes, Lake Erie, and Tiffin to see what dates fit in the schedule. Haven't had Findlay as the Frack game in a couple years, so that sounds about right.BillyLP wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 9:18 amPretty decent OOC away slate, really.
