Good! Terrible what they did last year using a pandemic to back out of a game

D Eric Parker is heading to camp with the New York Rangers this summer. Should be a great opportunity for him, and hopefully he is able to pick up a few things to bring with him this fall.

To add onto this, Austen Swankler is heading to Nashville for camp with the Preds this summer.

Perfect, I was hoping a full list would come out at some point.

Gotta love Blake and Emerson getting in with the Kings. Wonder who is pulling the strings behind the scenes over that way?

I'm hoping that Eigs is leveraging every ounce of his relationship with Rob and Nelson. Great opportunity to tell recruits that yeah, if you come to Bowling Green you're guaranteed to get a look from the NHL.

Really like seeing Parker and Swanks land a spot. Vinnell is a bonus as a transfer in. Stoves is a double bonus.

Thanks for posting this JP, I was about to ask the group if they'd heard anything.

No problem. Surprised to not see anyone going to Washington or Vegas given the connections with MacLellan and McPhee.

Seeing as Malmstrom was the only player invited to an NHL camp last year, this is very good to see.

Found this on Twitter, this guy is a UConn student and intern at an agency in Ottawa. He ranked incoming recruiting classes.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1185908126

Here's his methodology:
I give a rating for each player based on their 21-22 performance / draft status. Then I give a multiplier based on their league (i.e. USHL > NAHL). And lastly I factor in the highest rated players more. So quantity can help in some cases, but Quality > Quantity for the most part!
I let him know he's missing Norris, Pfoh, Grant, and Emerson from our incoming class so based on his methodology we're underrated. I also let him know Lindenwood and Anchorage aren't in the CCHA.

What kind of agency is he interning at? The unemployment agency? There's so much missing data in that, we're all dumber for having looked at it.

The more I looked into the details the more I regretted posting the link.

Swedish D-Man Gustav Stjernberg just committed to BG starting with the 23-24 season.

He’s 6’4, and he’ll be playing with Des Moines in the USHL this year.

Sixth leading scorer among Dmen in Sweden's top junior league.
