Many of us on here were close with her and Rick, and spent fun and quality time with her at BGSU football and hockey events. Wanted to pass it along as some people may not be active on social media.

Sad, sad day for the BG athletic community.
That's a gut punch. She will definitely be missed.
A gut punch is right. I really can’t believe it. One of the kindest, sweetest, most positive persons I’ve ever know. You will be missed dear friend.

Terrible news. One of the all-time great supporters of BG Hockey.

It is devastating. Just saw her and Rick at a grad party a few weeks ago. So many tailgates and games in all sports and there are no bigger hockey fans than Marta and Rick. My Falcon heart is broken and I pray for her beautiful family, all her friends and the BGSU community. It will never be the same w/out her. Marta was simply a gem, will be sorely missed and she made a difference in countless lives.

Mike McMahon posted in his blog that BGSU received a commitment from Breck McKinley for 2023. Offensive-minded blueliner.

And Will Cullen is heading overseas to play for the Belfast Giants. Twitter announcement has a great big “like” from one Ty Eigner.

And suddenly, the Gould transfer, and goal celebration, make so much more sense. There's no way all that is exclusive to his time spent at Michigan.
