Does anyone want Bob Moosbrugger?
With just under 2 years left on the ridiculous Bob Moosbrugger Covid contract, any guesses when he finally leaves? Clearly, he isn’t in any demand, so when does BG eat the buyout? One would think a mediocre football season and one of the worst rosters we’ve seen in men’s basketball, should expedite the inevitable.

He's seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High...Brad Hamilton dumps is already too hot for him girlfriend and winds up losing his primo gig at the burger place. Leaving him single and wearing a Pirate outfit. Moose isn't leaving a solid paycheck at BGSU where the money is decent and the standards are incredibly low to go somewhere that you're actually expected to work unless it 100% suits him
Although he seems like the kind of guy who might be drawn to wearing a pirate outfit

Wasn't he fired a few months ago? I get all of my news from this site.guest44 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 10:24 am With just under 2 years left on the ridiculous Bob Moosbrugger Covid contract, any guesses when he finally leaves? It had been reported and rumored around that he was told to look for a new job by the university president, and then it was also said that he was taking an assistant AD job at the University of Washington.threestooges wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 3:51 pmWasn't he fired a few months ago? But nothing concrete or confirmed. And he’s still on the job, with the school year starting on Monday. So… I’m thinking he’s sticking around.

Re: Does anyone want Bob Moosbrugger?
The situation at UW apparently fell through. I don't know any of the details. He's still under contract until June 2024 and his buyout is six months of his contract, about $140K. His social media presence has greatly diminished since the article by Briggs was published. He's been basically retweeting university athletic accounts on Twitter for the better part of the last two months. Outside of his comments on Marta's passing, he hasn't done much "original" content since May. I don't believe that's a coincidence. He seems to be checked out. You figure he would be working to promote the upcoming football season but it's been crickets. Wonder if he'll show up at the football season ticket scrimmage and lunch party this Saturday.mbenecke wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 3:55 pmIt had been reported and rumored around that he was told to look for a new job by the university president, and then it was also said that he was taking an assistant AD job at the University of Washington.threestooges wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 3:51 pmWasn't he fired a few months ago? Nope, this is Bowling Green State University. It's REALLY REALLY hard to get fired. See the person who scheduled Family Weekend while the football team was on the road. It was either the most egregious error in planning, or that person has some place else to be the weekend of October 8th. It won't matter despite the loss of revenue.threestooges wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 3:51 pmWasn't he fired a few months ago? His time will come. He just might thwart a robbery attempt and save the day, gaining back his confidence!Flipper wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 1:48 pm He's seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High...Brad Hamilton dumps is already too hot for him girlfriend and winds up losing his primo gig at the burger place. They are planning and alumni meet and greet BBQ to introduce all former athletes to the student body. There will be a band, a celebrity dunk tank, ice cream station. It’s is on December 26th behind the stadium.

Re: Does anyone want Bob Moosbrugger?
Leanest run athletic program in the MAC, and one of the leanest run in all of FBS. Don't want to spend $140K to pay his buyout so it's basically lame ducking it until Moose either finally moves in, his deal expires, or the university decides it's time to move on.
All I know is it's reckless to have Moose around come December if Loeffler fails to produce and needs to be terminated (donors going to fork over $525K?). I can't believe Rogers or the Board is going to allow him to make those type of decisions if there's already one foot out the door.

Particularly if they're slo-mo kicking him out of the door

I tweeted Dave Briggs about the Moose situation and he replied that a follow up article is coming on the matter...

Per President Rogers..."Having spoken with Moose and coaches Loeffler and Huger, I've determined that he might be only the third dumbest department employee, so he deserves another chance"

If Rogers greenlighted Moose's extension I'd put him at the head of the class. Created his own issue with the buyout. Makes you shake your head.
