So who has Jeff's contact information, or has someone already contacted him??? This is an important thing to do.

Jeff usually reads this site, but in case he hasn't been lately, I'll send him an email tonight.

Honestly, I think it's too late to get an alumni band together, but I also think it's a cop out to not at least try.
I agree that this team deserves the support and the least we could do is see if we can work anything out.

I don't know if I would be able to make it because of work, but if I can, I would be willing to direct. I would prefer to play, but would take one for the team if finding a director would be a sticking point

AND btw, I think it was Charles who asked Dr. H about the possibility of taking a band to Detroit for the CCHA playoffs up there if that happens. Needless to say, the response for that wasn't exactly positive either. Theoretically, we could win the CCHA tourny 1 hour north of here, and there wouldn't be a band there to play Rocky, AZZ, or FF.

However, the Frozen Four is in Columbus, OH, and we all know Dr. H would LOVE another opportunity to go to her home town which is just 2 1/2 hours away. Jeff

:?: Has a decision been made yet about whether there are enough people to play tonight? Haven't gotten any word back yet.

There must not have been enough people for tonight, but be at the Ice Arena tomorrow by 6. And I guess Sunday is off as well. So, come to the game tonight anyway and make some noise for the boys.

Here is some incentive for those debating about going to the game and/or playing in the band tonight (AND SUNDAY ;))

I talked to Jordan (the goalie) today and last night's game obviously came up. I mentioned that there would be a larger crowd tonight with the alumni athletic band being there and he got excited. His responce was "we really need the band" When I asked him if he had any requests, however, he couldn't think of any at that time :P Your efforts don't go unnoticed band :)

PS He thought the Happy Birthday was very cool also ;)
