McDonald’s release is a ton quicker than last season. That’s good news.

Offense does nothing and then Hawley makes a dumb play.

I definitely think he looks sharper. Could be health, could be coaching. Either way, he needs it.

And we can’t be dropping well-thrown balls when we get them. 88 needed to catch that ball.

Defensive line is off to a good start. But I think bringing this much pressure is going to lead to more busts than disruptive plays given the number of screens and quick passes UCLA runs.

Nice pick 17!

Defense forces a 3rd and 15, and Taylor picks the ball off and takes it near midfield. Good stuff, man.

This defense looks like they belong. This is exciting. They are going for broke this game so I still expect UCLA to outlast but it makes me look forward to MAC play for sure.

UGH what a terrible play. Can’t tell if it was just an overthrow or if Gazerek broke stride.

And for the first time since Babers was around, the offense converts a must need and short with a run!

Can't overthrow wide open guys. Special teams winning the day.

Offense did a little, then sputtered. Overthrow on what would’ve been a TD, and a batter ball at the line that was headed to a guy that was wide open.

UCLA drops the punt and BG takes over at the UCLA 12.

BG hits a FG to go up 10-7 with 4:29 to play in the first quarter.
